Hunstanton is one of the best places to go rock pooling in Norfolk.

Located along Hunstanton’s famous striped cliffs, Ammonites and shark teeth can be commonly found on the beach, whilst in the expansive rock pools you can discover crabs, starfish and other creatures.

Opening Hours

Check tide times as the rock pools are only accessible during low tide.

    I haven’t been yet but my mum-in-law grew up there in the 20s/30s and had happy memories of ‘poling’ from rock to rock using a broom handle. Looking forward to visiting soon.
